Trade Show Event to Showcase Global Technology & Services in Support of Chile’s Ongoing Rebuilding Program

Purpose:  Building on the much-acclaimed first edition of EXPO REBUILD CHILE, which took place in Santiago in June 2010, EXPO REBUILD CHILE INTERNATIONAL will take place in the area of Chile most directly impacted by the earthquake and tsunami of February 2010.  It will be the business forum where Chilean government and private sector officials with a role in the regional recovery and reconstruction efforts meet face-to-face, view products, and share first-hand information with global suppliers who have solutions to offer.

Format: EXPO REBUILD CHILE INTERNATIONAL will be held in Concepción, Chile in October 2010.  It will take place over a three day period.  The trade show will serve as the centerpiece of the event.  In addition to exhibits, EXPO REBUILD CHILE INTERNATIONAL will include a high-level opening conference focused on the roles international manufacturers and service providers can play as Chile rebuilds its infrastructure, business and manufacturing centers, and residential areas.

Visitors:  The visitors for EXPO REBUILD CHILE INTERNATIONAL will be drawn from two main groups: Government officials at the regional and municipal level who are charged with planning and implementing Chile’s recovery and rebuilding effort, and private sector businesses looking to purchase from, or partner with, international suppliers.  Visitors will include representatives from numerous sectors including construction, energy, transport, communications, education, sanitation, health, finance, public safety and law enforcement, among others.

Exhibitors: EXPO REBUILE CHILE exhibitors will be companies from throughout the world who have products and expertise to share.  Exhibitors can include manufacturers of building products and construction equipment; telecommunications systems; energy generation and delivery products; sanitation, utilities repair and replacement; and other equipment and materials identified by Chile as priorities in the rebuilding program.  In addition, companies offering specialized knowledge-based services such as municipal planning, infrastructure needs assessment, financial modeling, and engineering and architectural services will be invited to participate in EXPO REBUILD CHILE INTERNATIONAL.

Media: EXPO REBUILD CHILE INTERNATIONAL will be open to the media – both specialized and general interest.  It will serve as a timely backdrop to focus attention on the rebuilding program and the global products and services available to Chile for its ongoing long-term recovery program.  (see www.ExpoRebuildChile.com to see what the media has already reported about EXPO REBUILD CHILE)

Organizer: EXPO REBUILD CHILE INTERNATIONAL will be organized by Kallman Worldwide Inc. which also organized the earlier Santiago-based event.  Founded in 1963, Kallman Worldwide has a proven track record working on hundreds of successful business-to-business trade events throughout the world. Headquartered in New Jersey USA, with a full-time satellite office in Santiago, the company has worked in Chile since 1994,

Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds will be again be donated to Hogar de Cristo and the Fondo Esperanza in support of their programs.
