About the Organizer-Kallman Worldwide, Inc.

Kallman Worldwide is recognized as one of the world's largest, oldest   and most respected firms specializing in the marketing and management of international exhibition space. They have organized over 750 events in over 40 countries. In addition to many years of experience organizing and representing large trade events in Chile including FIDAE, Expomin, and Exponaval.  Kallman’s expertise in the region, relationships with local suppliers, and their history with Espacio Riesco make them the perfect organizers for this event.

In 1991, Kallman Worldwide was part of the “REBUILD KUWAIT” exhibition in Bahrain that was strongly endorsed by (then) President George H.W. Bush and the “REBUILD IRAQ” event held in 2004 in Amman, Jordan.  Both events were warmly welcomed by the host governments, and were extremely successful in presenting large numbers of U.S. companies to the Region.  And from a diplomatic standpoint, they drove home the message to the local government and business community that the U.S. is their best ally and partner.

History has shown that these events were instrumental in expediting the recovery process and were the catalysts for U.S. companies’ first entrée into both the Kuwait and Iraq.  Because of these initiatives, companies such as Rubbermaid, the furniture giants from North Carolina, Bechtel and Halliburton are now household names in the Region.

Since 1994, when we organized our first U.S. Pavilion at FIDAE and when Kallman Worldwide was first introduced to the Hogar de Cristo, Kallman has presented a monetary donation to this relief organization on behalf of all the U.S. Exhibitors at the show.  The Hogar de Cristo caters to the poorest of poor throughout the country, and they, along with the Red Cross, have surfaced as two leading organizations involved in aiding the 27 February earthquake and tsunami victims.

With Kallman Worldwide’s expanded involvement in Chile, in particular the addition of ExpoMin to Kallman’s
calendar of events, we have increased our donations to the Hogar de Cristo accordingly.
Over the years countless U.S. Companies have also added their own contributions and with this combined effort we have reached out and assisted hundreds of needy adults and children.  In 2010, the donations (at FIDAE and ExpoMin) exceeded US$30,000. and through the newly formed “Fondo Esperanza” that money is now being used to fund micro loans to assist Chileans in reestablishing their businesses and rebuilding their lives.

A portion of the proceeds from the REBUILD CHILE EXPO will be donated to the Hogar de Cristo and Fondo
Esperanza, and the exhibiting U.S. companies will also be encouraged to directly support these worthy causes.
